How to Use Your Cleolight Mask
Your Cleolight Mask is two separate units: an LED face mask and an LED neck mask. You can use them together or on their own. Each one is charged, powered on, and strapped on separately.
Before Your First Session: Light Sensitivity Test
New to LED light? Power on the mask and run a full 15-minute session on your forearm. If the area reddens and stays red for more than 2 hours, you have light-sensitive skin. Stop using the mask and contact us at queen@cleolight.com.
Step-by-Step: Using the Mask
1. Charge fully. Charge your face mask and/or neck mask with the provided USB-C cable. A solid, non-blinking light means it's ready. Do not use the mask while it is plugged in.
2. Cleanse your face. Wash your face and remove all makeup.
3. (Optional) Apply the Luminance Priming Serum. If you're using our Luminance Priming Serum, apply it now to help the light penetrate.
4. Power on. Hold the button for 3 seconds. The face mask's button is on top. The neck mask's button is on the bottom.
5. Choose your color. Tap the button to switch to the color you want.
6. Adjust the straps. Each unit has a Velcro adjustable strap. Adjust the face mask and the neck mask for a comfortable fit. Keep the built-in eye protection on throughout the session.
7. Enjoy your 15-minute session. The mask powers off automatically when the session ends. To stop early, hold the button for 3 seconds.
8. Finish your routine. Follow with your moisturizer or other skincare products.
Light Modes
Your face and neck mask offer 6 modes in total:
| Mode | Studies have shown it may assist with |
|---|---|
| 🔴 Red | Anti-aging |
| 🟢 Green | Dark spots |
| 🔵 Blue | Acne |
| 🟣 Purple | Combination of red and blue light |

How Often Should I Use It?
Start with 3 sessions a week, then build up to daily use once your skin feels ready. Do not use the mask more than 15 minutes per day. Listen to your skin, and ease off if redness or irritation shows up.
If redness, itching, or discomfort occurs, stop using the mask right away and contact us.
